I was praying with some young people that came to the altar after I preached in Mexico last month and I just happened to look down at the sneakers of one young girl. I saw just two tears on the floor. Two tear drops. I looked at her and I thought that’s what this whole thing is all about. I talked to her for a few moments. The tears weren’t from emotion. The tears were very simply tears that for the first time in her life she really understood who Jesus really was, what He really did and what it really meant to her. Now it’s personal it just became real. And I thought YIP; all it took was just somebody deciding I’m going to be faithful again tonight.
As tired as I was I’m going to be faithful again tonight. As difficult as its been over these 50 years, we keep on ploughing, we keep on moving forward. That what I guess my whole life really has been all about. I thought you may want to see a picture. Maybe it will encourage some of you to take your next 50 years and make a difference in somebody’s life. They need you they need to know who Jesus is. And without folks like us… but you know all that don’t you. Talk later.
